The F type valve is a fast opening single stage solenoid valve, which is normally closed. It is opened when it is energized. And the S type valve is a Slow opening single stage solenoid valve, which is normally closed. It is opened when it is energized.

Function & Operation

• The PRESS 3G uses a valve block to control staged fuel delivery via two solenoid shut-off valves—V1 for low-fire (1st stage) and V2 for high-fire (2nd stage)—managed by the microprocessor safety control box.

• The burner supports intermittent two-stage operation or standard on/off firing.

Valve Block Components & Hydraulic Ports

• Dual Solenoid Valves (V1 & V2): These electrically activated valves enable low-fire and high-fire stages separately .

• Hydraulic Ports (per INSTALLER manual):

  1. Suction-line fitting (oil inlet)

  2. Return-line fitting

  3. Valve-group return connection

  4. Pressure gauge port (G1/8″) for pump pressure measurement

  5. Pump pressure adjustment screw

• Pump Bypass Feature: Single-pipe systems may utilize internal bypass or degasser kits; degassing is recommended for flows >80 kg/h.

• Fuel Compatibility: Light gas-oil up to 6 cSt viscosity; supports up to 10% biofuel blends with specified components.

• Flow Rates & Pressure:

  • Flow range: 23–45 kg/h (two-nozzle, low-fire), 45–100 kg/h max.  

  • Pump delivery at 12 bar: ~164 kg/h; operating range: 10–21 bar .

  • Max suction depression: 0.45 bar.

4. Installation & Maintenance Notes

• Access: Mounted on sliding bars for ease of maintenance. 

• Pressure Monitoring: Use G1/8″ port to install gauge or switch; adjust via pressure screw

• Pump Priming & Degassing: Prime after fuel changes; degassing kits required for flows >80 kg/h to avoid cavitation .

• Biofuel Components: Valve block and oil lines must be Riello-specified for biofuel up to 10%; use of non-genuine parts voids warranty
